ASL Video

Welcome to the Personal Supports website!

This site contains information about and links to programs that provide equipment and assistive devices or other personal supports to persons with disabilities in British Columbia.

If you would like to hear the text read out loud or see it translated into American Sign Language (ASL), click on the ASL icons.

There are a few ways to find the information that you want:

  • You can go to the search page to find information on the subject of your choice. Here, you can narrow your search by using more than one criterion at a time (e.g., education AND hearing AND equipment and assistive devices).
  • Use the navigation tools on the left of this page.
  • Search for programs by functional needs (e.g. seeing, hearing, mobility), organization (e.g. provincial, federal, non-profit), or type of support (e.g. education, employment, equipment and assistive devices).
